While Feather Hair Extensions may not be for everyone, they can surely accent any young and hip look, but will they go mainstream? Jeniffer Love Hewitt's Feather Hair Extensions are certainly an indication that they may. We rarely talk about "Love" here because there is generally nothing about her to lampoon. She is a glamorous star who makes very few fashion faux pas. I wish there was a joke to insert here, but I plain adore this girl and if she wants to jam some rooster feathers in her dome, then we should all follow suit. Seriously, I think she looks fab with Feather Hair Extensions and even though in this case they are brightly colored, I wouldn't be surprised to see her pull off a more formal look with feather's of a solid color. They are easily attached and last for several weeks with very little care. Anyone at SXSW has had to notice Feather Hair Extensions by now. The Feather Hair Extensions are taking over #SXSW which to me it is crazy. Interactive Media and tech show my butt! Style X is stealing the show. Head over and jam some feathers in scalp. It's all the rage.

well i got them yesterday and put them in.
they were narrow-er and shorter than i though. so i ended putting all ten in on three different links. it was fine but then later that night while showering four fell out that i caught and then another four fell out that i think went down the drain. so if you do it make sure the links are tight and good. andddd i left a meh review for the person i got the feathers from. so she sent me another pack of her longest feathers and even extra. (which is awesome but at the same time i just bought another pack from a dif user before i knew this -.-)

How stupid is this??? Feathers come from roosters. So as all of you boost this trend, more roosters will be bred and harvested for just this fashion. It is one thing to breed animals for food, but not fashion. So, enjoy your tail feathers from an innocent beautiful rooster that was killed so that you could look like a movie star!!

Just to clarify a bit. You are right that more roosters will be slaughtered for fashion, but not this year. It takes the feathers about a year to grow so this fad has gobbled up last years roosters. The roosters are bred to be slaughtered for fly fisherman to make lures. They are mad because they can't get anymore. No doubt the breeders will raise more for next season but by then the feather hair extensions will have come and gone.
